You are invited to participate in the Light The Night 5K & Family Fun Run in downtown Leitchfield Kentucky. A salute to our first responders and to help support Grayson County Sheriff's Office's foundation, Behind the Badge*. Participants will enjoy a unique race, featuring glow lights, emergency vehicles lighting the course, a dance party for the whole family, and DONUTS! All participants receive a donut at the finish line.
The pre-race party & food truck rally will start at 6:30 pm, followed by the 5k at 7:25 pm. Each Light The Night 5K finisher will receive: - A Custom Finisher’s Medal - Race T-shirt (must register by the August 27th t-shirt deadline)
- Reusable Glow In The Dark Light Up Bracelet
- FREE Crime Fighting Biscuit……aka a donut at the finish line.

*What is Behind the Badge?
Behind the Badge is a local non profit organization developed and run through the Grayson County Sheriff's Office. Proceeds given to the foundation are used (but not limited) to:

- Provide Christmas presents for 150+ needy children during the Holidays (Shop With A Cop)
- Provide shelter and meals to homeless veterans passing through our county
- Assist needy families in our area when tragedy strikes
- Provide meal assistance to the hungry
- Purchase backpacks, earbuds and school supplies for students for back to school
- Provide assistance to any Grayson County family in need.
