Canoe, Kayak or Paddleboard

Start at 10:00 am central time at Dog Creek

Before the summer boat traffic hits the Nolin River Lake, enjoy the serenity of the lake and take a scenic trip by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. We will depart from the Dog Creek boat ramp area and paddle upstream. This trip will be a great trip for families. The trip is about a 5 mile long paddle. Join in the fun! No reservation needed. Bring your own canoe, kayak or paddleboard.

Life jackets are required for this paddle!

10:00am (CST) – Meet at Dog Creek Boat Ramp, by the fee shack in the parking lot for safety talk and inspections.
10:15am – Put canoes/kayaks in the water along with water and paddle safety tips
Expected return time around 12:30pm – 1:30pm (CST) – Return to the boat ramp and take out the canoes and kayaks

The Dog Creek recreation shelter is available for your use before or after the paddle.
