The Grayson County Bluegrass Opry welcomes the return of the Honeysuckle Ridge band to its stage for its upcoming show on Saturday, November 18th, at 6:00 PM at the Old Judicial Building (third floor) at 125 East White Oak Street in Leitchfield. Admission to the show is free. Guests are reminded to use the back entrance to the building and take the elevator to the top floor.
Honeysuckle Ridge has been performing for about two years and includes some veteran bluegrass musicians from Grayson and Breckinridge Counties. The band has been performing regularly at the monthly BBMA bluegrass show at the Rough River State Park Lodge. Band members include guitarist and vocalist Ricky Paul and his wife Linda who plays bass. Bobby Lucas also plays guitar and sings. The banjo player is Wayne Mabe and the fiddle player is Henry Burch. Margaret Hamilton also assists the band with vocals.
Other bands that will be performing at the next Bluegrass Opry show will be Becky and the Butler County Boys of Morgantown, Bitter-Sweet Bluegrass Band of Vine Grove, and the Hickory Grove band of Leitchfield.
